Advanced Continuous Casting Process
The Taeantech continuous casting machine uses dynamic down-draw casting to improve density and efficiency. Stir induction heating ensures uniform temperature distribution during metal melting. The machine can produce metal rods, sheets, tubes, or coils, each weighing up to 20 kg. Intelligent Temperature and Process Control
Equipped with a Mitsubishi PLC and PID temperature controller, this machine precisely monitors and adjusts casting parameters with ±1°C accuracy. The human-machine interface allows full automation of the casting process with one command, minimizing manual intervention. Safety and Inert Gas Protection
Taeantech machines use nitrogen or argon to protect the melting chamber, resulting in uniform, high-quality castings with no segregation. Part 1. Melting Room

The melting room of the Taeantech continuous casting machine is a vital part of the equipment, which is responsible for the efficient and uniform heating of the metal raw material to a molten state, providing high-quality molten metal for the subsequent casting process.

Variable frequency heating: The melting room combines IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) variable frequency technology, which can achieve precise adjustment of the heating power and ensure temperature stability and uniformity during the melting process.  Automatic frequency tracking, making the melting process more stable and safer.  Operate without noise.  The automatic stirring function can continuously stir the molten metal during the heating process, prevent local overheating and metal precipitation, and improve the uniformity and quality of the molten metal.


PID±1°C Temperature Control: PIDs are used to precisely control the temperature inside the melting furnace to ensure that the metal melts within the optimal temperature range while avoiding overheating and affecting the quality of the metal product.  PID temperature control system has the characteristics of accurate control, fast response, elimination of deviation accumulation, prediction and reduction of fluctuations, adjustable parameters, intelligence, automation, etc., as well as high reliability and stability.  Together, these characteristics constitute the superior performance and wide application value of the system in the field of precious metal continuous casting.

Inert gas protection: Inert gases (such as nitrogen, argon, etc.) can effectively isolate oxygen and prevent metal oxidation due to their non-reactive chemical properties.  It also allows for precise control of the atmosphere in the melting room and avoids interference from other impurity gases.  This control is essential to ensure the stability and repeatability of the metal melting and continuous casting process.  Under the protection of inert gases, the porosity generated during metal melting and continuous casting is greatly reduced.

Part 2. Casting Room

The casting room of Taeantech precision continuous casting machines is one of its key components, which is responsible for casting the molten metal in the melting room into the desired shape and size.

Crystallizer: The crystallizer is located at the heart of the casting room and is the key to the solidification and crystallizering of molten metal.  Taeantech crystallizers are manufactured with copper-based alloys that have good thermal conductivity and wear resistance.  Taeantech precision continuous casting machines use down-lead casting technology where molten metal flows continuously into the crystallizer through a sprue.  In the crystallizer, the molten metal is rapidly cooled and solidified into a shell, which is then continuously drawn out by a pilot rod or blank drawing device to form the desired casting shape.  By controlling parameters such as pouring speed, cooling intensity, etc., the size and performance of the casting can be precisely controlled.

Lead stick: Taeantech lead stick are made of special materials that are resistant to high temperatures and wear and tear.  These materials are able to withstand the thermal stresses of high-temperature environments while resisting friction and wear with crystallizers and castings, ensuring stable performance and structural integrity of the pilot rod over time.  When the molten metal solidifies in the crystallizer and forms a certain thickness of billet shell, the pilot rod smoothly leads it out of the crystallizer, ensuring that the casting maintains integrity and stability during the pull-out process.  Through the continuous movement of the priming rod, the continuous pouring of molten metal and the continuous pulling out of castings are realized, which greatly improves the production efficiency.

Cooling System: Taeantech cooling system is designed with materials and structures with high thermal conductivity to quickly remove heat from castings and crystallizers, enabling rapid cooling and solidification of castings.  By optimizing the distribution and flow of the cooling medium, it ensures that the casting is heated evenly during the cooling process, avoiding thermal stress and cracks caused by excessive temperature gradients.  The cooling system can provide a variety of cooling mode options, such as spray cooling, water curtain cooling, etc., according to the needs of different metal materials and casting processes, to meet the cooling needs of different castings.
