Advanced extraction device: Taenatech vacuum continuous casting machine uses two rotating shafts of servo motors to drive the extraction roller, which can precisely control and extract the casting. This advanced extraction device enables the casting speed of this machine to be as high as 200mm-400mm per minute, which greatly improves production efficiency. Casting diameter is 4-16mm.
Mitsubishi PLC+PID temperature control panel: Mitsubishi PLC realizes precise control of various parameters in the casting process. Intelligent human-machine interface control can automatically complete the entire metal continuous casting process with one click. Automation makes the operation very simple and convenient. PID temperature control can accurately control the temperature, so the temperature control difference will not exceed ±1.

Part 1: Melting Room

The melting room of Taeantech high vacuum continuous casting machines is a vital part of the equipment, which is responsible for efficiently and evenly heating the metal raw material to a molten state, providing high-quality molten metal for the subsequent casting process. 

Frequency conversion heating: The melting room combined with IGBT frequency conversion technology can achieve precise adjustment of heating power to ensure temperature stability and uniformity during the melting process. Automatic frequency tracking, making the melting process more stable and safer. Operate without noise. Electromagnetic stirring function to reduce segregation of molten metal. Shrinkage porosity and porosity in castings are significantly reduced, and the appearance of castings is smoother.

PID±1°C Temperature Control: PIDs are used to precisely control the temperature inside the melting furnace to ensure that the metal melts within the optimal temperature range while avoiding overheating and affecting the quality of the metal product. PID temperature control system has the characteristics of accurate control, fast response, elimination of deviation accumulation, prediction and reduction of fluctuations, adjustable parameters, intelligence, automation, etc., as well as high reliability and stability. Together, these characteristics constitute the superior performance and wide application value of the system in the field of precious metal continuous casting.

Inert gas protection: Inert gases (such as nitrogen, argon, etc.) can effectively isolate oxygen and prevent metal oxidation due to their non-reactive chemical properties. It also allows for precise control of the atmosphere in the melting room and avoids interference from other impurity gases. This control is essential to ensure the stability and repeatability of the metal melting and continuous casting process. Under the protection of inert gases, the porosity generated during metal melting and continuous casting is greatly reduced.

Part 2 Casting Chamber

The casting room of the Taeantech high vacuum continuous casting machine is one of its key components, which is responsible for casting the molten metal in the melting room into the desired shape and size under a high degree of vacuum protection.

High vacuum protection: casting in a high vacuum state can effectively prevent porosity and inclusions in the casting, and the high vacuum environment can ensure the compactness and purity of the casting, thereby improving the overall quality of the casting. This is especially important for the manufacture of high-end metal raw materials such as bonding wire. In the vacuum state, the contact of the molten metal with oxygen is greatly reduced, which reduces the risk of metal oxidation and guarantees the surface finish and intrinsic quality of the casting. Due to the reduction of porosity, inclusions and oxidation, the quality of the casting is improved, which in turn reduces the scrap rate and subsequent processing costs.

Crystallizer: The crystallizer is located at the heart of the casting room and is the key to the solidification and crystallizering of molten metal. Taeantech crystallizers are manufactured with copper-based alloys that have good thermal conductivity and wear resistance. Taeantech precision continuous casting machines use down-lead casting technology where molten metal flows continuously into the crystallizer through a sprue. In the crystallizer, the molten metal is rapidly cooled and solidified into a shell, which is then continuously drawn out by a pilot rod or blank drawing device to form the desired casting shape. By controlling parameters such as pouring speed, cooling intensity, etc., the size and performance of the casting can be precisely controlled.

Guide wheel: guide wheel is located below the crystallizer. After the thick metal wire pulled out by the upper guide rod is squeezed and thinned, the guide wheel will rotate rapidly to pull the metal wire into circles of soft thin metal wire. Due to the clever spacing design and soft material of the guide wheel, the produced metal wire will not be defective, the produced metal wire is of good quality, and the production efficiency of the metal wire is extremely high. 

Cooling System: Taeantech cooling system is designed with materials and structures with high thermal conductivity to quickly remove heat from castings and molds, enabling rapid cooling and solidification of castings. By optimizing the distribution and flow of the cooling medium, it ensures that the casting is heated evenly during the cooling process, avoiding thermal stress and cracks caused by excessive temperature gradients. The cooling system can provide a variety of cooling mode options, such as spray cooling, water curtain cooling, etc., according to the needs of different metal materials and casting processes, to meet the cooling needs of different castings.
